Tuesday, February 6, 2024 – New York, NY – McLaughlin & Stern, LLP, one of the top regional law firms in New York State, with a leading class action practice, today announces it has been retained by a class of over 175 occupants of the building located at 47th Avenue near 43rd Street in Sunnyside which suffered a tragic and devastating fire in December, just days before Christmas.

Brett Gallaway, who handles the firm’s class action practice and Nelson E. Canter who heads the firm’s Insurance Subrogation Group, will bring decades of expertise together, along with other members of the firm who concentrate on rent control and rent stabilization issues, to provide the best team possible to protect the victims’ interests.
